Electrical Diagrams and/or Service Manuals

Do such animals exist outside the Mercruiser manuals? I'm looking to do some minor electrical work on my new '01 Hammer, and it sure would be easier if I knew what was what before I started.

The shop manual for the mercruiser or is there one for the Baja? In either case, where can I get it?
