Baja 322 2 x 454 Mag MPI Procharger 600HP built from Mark-Precision Marine Engines. It runs 80 with 28`s on 5100 Rpm
Question: It will be faster with Imco Shortys? http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/a...6082009086.jpg |

Thanks!
The design from the orange Stripes are stolen from a small Boat Company from Sarasota:evilb: |
I'm running a 515" M3SC Procharged engine. Dyno'ed 843hp/830tq at 5600 rpm. I was running 87mph before but now I can't keep a drive together long enough to see how fast.

The 25 is a pretty sound hull very simliar to the 272. I know of two 272's capable of running in the 90's and one that has broke triple digits.
That will be a sweet setup for sure. |
540 w/afr heads,m-3sc turning waaaay past it's maximum rating, home modified mpi intake and throttle body, made 1115hp on crocketts dyno on 20% race gas/80% 92 octane, made 1050hp plus on 92 octane, made 657hp with blower belt off on second ecu we reprogrammed,Smitty

I think I COULD break into the triple digits by just putting on my smallest pulley as I have ran 99 mph with the 1057 hp pulley and it made 1115 w/the next smaller one BUT seeing the water next to my face sideways while still in the boat 2 years ago as it tried to spin out and eject me and my wife at 95 plus mph after violently bow steering kinda took away my desire to go that fast again ,Smitty
I thought that you did break the triple digit mark. Glad you survived to talk about it. Every hull has it's limit's and I think you have found the limit on the 272. Thanks for posting the information. Doc |
