IF A 496 BOAT IS $ 199 K AND THE 525 PACKAGE ONLY $ 30 K MORE FOR THE PAIR WHY IS THERE SO MUCH MORE OF A MARK UP ?
MIKE With the 525 boat there are more standard features such as a class A faired and finished engine room, a Fully Infused hull, and a non-wood stringer system. By the way I am not trying to sound like a prick, but the pricing sheet that I got from Mercury shows my cost to be alot more than 30k for the pair. Evolution Performance Boats |

Evolution Performance Boats AS FAR AS OEM PRICING . THE LAST TIME I LOOKED AT THE SHEET 496HO PACKAGE WAS AROUND $ 20K AND THE 525 PACKAGE WAS AROUND $33 K A PEICE. MAYBE THE PRICE WHENT UP SOME BUT IT CANT BE THAT MUCH . BUT WITH THE EXTRA WORK AND LAYUP THAT YOUR DOING TO THE BOAT WILL HELP JUSTIFY THE PRICE . SO WHAT SPEED DO YOU THINK WITH TWIN 496HO'S STAG WITH THE HEAVY LAYUP ?, THANK'S MIKE |

Sorry to disappoint you Robbie, This is not a copy or a splash, but the real deal a 5 axis all original cut hull mold. Like I said before in this post the guy who was responsible for inventing the positive lift hull, Which is the step bottom that is on all of fountains hulls and He was responsible for designing the Donzi 38ZR helped design the 40EV hull.
Evolution Performance boats http://www.technologysite.org/PixFlo...tPlanes/1.html or http://images.search.yahoo.com/image...sigb=13l90vne5 If you want to say he "improved" positive lift step hulls I can dig it, but anything else is a false claim. |
