windshield for 1989 280 sport
 

a good buddy of mine just bought a 280 sport with the windshield broken / missing........

anybody know a good place to find a replacement...............

I just replaced the windshield in my 1990 250ES. Hated to go thru Baja but really couldn't find another option as nobody seems to have an oven large enough to make the front section in one piece. There may be someone out there but after months of searching I couldn't find them, so ended up bitting the bullet:rolleyes:

If you do find someone to make it you may want to let BGIII know as I believe he is looking as well.

I might be selling mine, not sure
Want to convert mine over to a fountain 33-35 windshield
Not sure on how much work is all involved though
Need to find a fountain windshield as well

The factory windshield was made by a company called Viplex. Try to contact them, they might sell direct.

Viplex was bought out by Spartech. They no longer will sell direct. Been that route:mad:
