need cabin height measurement
 

Hi Guys ! Please help me save time ! I'll post the same question in the different brand section also...

currently have a F 357. Cabin height is anywhere between 52 to 53 inches. toilet room is roughly 3 foot high. I Don't know why, but I'm starting to have back pain !!!!

Did not have time to shop and see different boats physically, and manufacturer don't write cabin height usually...

considering those models for my next boat: Formula 382, formula 419, sonic 38 - 42 and or 45, donzi 38, fountain 38 -42 - 47, baja 40...

also formula 370 SS or 400 SS but those 2 don't have cabin height problem I guess...

Can you guys take your measuring tape for me and tell me cabin and toilet room height, for each of those models? You'd save me many miles in travelling, and back pain !!! I want to be able to stand pretty much straight, I'm 5'8''

The chart that I attached shows the 40 Outlaw having 63" in the cabin. Not quite enough to stand straight up. The Baja 38 Special would make you a great boat with 70".

Like XT said the 38 has a huge cabin in it, a friend of mine has one.

Also all of the Sonic boats have tall cabins (all are 6'2" or better I think)

Don't even bother with a fountain, a good friend of mine has one of those as well and I can say that it has to be the shortest cabin I have ever been in (and it's a 35!) it's very uncomfortable for me to go in and i'm only 5'5"!!! time spent in that cabin is time spent on your knees!

the baja 38 does have a decent cabin but I think the U shaped seat is not complete on one side and stops me from sleeping 2 adults or one or 2 kids confortably, no?

Depends on what seating arrangement the dealer ordered?

Some were straight rear bench, some were "L" shaped, and some were "U" shaped. The (4) McLeod bolsters were only offered with the straight bench seating though.
