Nice looking boat

I would figure 50mph as top speed. Can a 496 375hp take a raylar kit? Just seems like not enough torgue or HP to get that boat up and moving.

Very popular boat on Lake of the Ozarks. Big Thunder sold alot of them.

I was wondering about top speed also, a 26 OL with 375 hp top speed is around 63 a 29 ol has to weigh around 1000lbs more???

Did Big Thunder sell a bunch of single 29 OL ?????

Yeah, they sold a ton of them. In fact they had a program where they still got "single" 29's after they quit building them and replaced them with the 30 OL because the boat was so popular. There are some 05's floating around if I am not mistaken still... Out there of course people want to go fast...but with how bad the waves and "slop" can get out in that area there is no substitute for length to have ride quality.

Weight was bout ~5575 for the single...~6800 for the twin, of course those were with the smallest engines avail.

MR BAJA!

Looks like a great boat to start with. Needs a trailer. Not a bad package if it surveyed well. With that kind of power, the hull is most likely in decent shape.

That is a great riding boat for a short boat. Like someone else said, Bob Morgan sold alot of them.

When I had the top half of my motor done 2 years ago the shop that did it had just finished building a 540 inch motor for one and where in the process of rigging it, I believe it was a new[er] model around 05 or so, but, I could be wrong, the one thing I DID notice was how MUCH room there was to work on the engine, Man, you could stretch out and have a nap while changing the plugs! LOL,

UNLIKE my 24 Outlaw!

Yep, there were quite a few single 29 Outlaws sold at LOTO. There were a lot of single 29 Mach 1's sold as well.

that would be a great boat for a konrad ace package and a 598 800 hp na motor bet it would do 80 and give a good ride if its 5600 lbs. that was one of my ideas to find a 29 used with the other hulls I looked at. even if someone threw a 500hp in it with a shortie I bet 65 or 70 could be hit with the right drive height. its stock height must be 14 141/2'' x with the prop shaft at 7 1/2 to 8'' deep.
