252 Prop ?

Hey everyone, I purchased a 1996 252 with a regular 454 carb currently running a 23 mirage plus. I was curious what I should expect for rpm's top speed, and is this two much prop for this boat.

i have a 99 252 with a 454mag.

same prop and its runs 63 gps, at 4700-5000 depending on trim.

Yeah this seems to be the norm for the mag, I just wasnt sure even the hp of my motor either 300-330. The cowl says RPM 4200-4600.
