Default Cool Fuel

Has anyone experienced loss of fuel pressure on the 2000 Cool Fuel system?? (502s in a 34 Baja). Mine responded after I manually fed fuel thru the intake hose of the pump past the seperator!! I heard there is a booster pump kit out for vapor lock and thought that might also help the fact that Merc puts about 9 feet of hose beteen tank & pump on the starboard motor??
Any thoughts or ????

Sounds like vapor lock to me. Mercury has a kit that resolves this issue.

Yup, sounds like vapor lock. Any Mercruiser dealer should be able to help you with the kit.
