Steering control valve, Saginaw valve
Hey guys,
I am having trouble with my steering, I think it is the steering control valve. Merc doesn't have parts for it any more. It is called a Saginaw valve, they switched to a brazil valve. Any body have a Saginaw valve they would want to sell ? Thanks John |

That would be great Dave, Thanks for your help. I had it out on Thursday , still not fixed. From the info I have gathered ,
I think there is a problem in the check valve circuts, but you can't service them. So I'm looking for another valve. John |
John is this what you need? Just removed from 89 Baja to add external steering. Have no idea what is is worth. Pay shipping and pay me enough to buy a beer or two and it is yours.

Irish, Sport280 shipped the parts this morning, I just hope this fixes the fun governor. I would like to be able to use the extra 15 mph for your run. Thanks for all your help. And thank you Fred.
