Barge Party
 

So far we have about five boats going saturday,

Rick i already made plans to go to LSCR this weekend but i will be at the one next month if i dont break anything

Going to launch out of the ramp downtown
sandusky at approx. 10:30, 11:00 am. Ed if
your plans change we will be there.

We have about 7-10 boats going, Most out of Vermilion. I was wondering what time we need to be there to be up close.

Make sure your fuel tank is full, and I say we get all tanked in Sandusky.

All it will take in someone saying "I bet we can be at Muskamoo Bay in less that two hours run time" and off we go!

I know we could be at the mouth of the Detroit River in less than an hour, but there are of few no-wake areas on the river that we might have to blow through. (been pulled over for that one in the past)

Yes, I plan to be at the barge party, but what happens after that is out of my control!

For you guys that want to do something before that, there are some boats that are gonna meet up in front of the coasters around 11 then head west for lunch then come back to the barge party or the Casino :D

Damn I thought Billy had you guys convinced to come to LSCR....just stay on the Canadian side when you go around Belle Isle and it's 55mph all the way up the Detroit River.

We'll be down at the mouth around 3pm I'm guessing...

Cedar Point (Roller Coasters)

The roller coasters of Cedar Point. Everybody just kind mills around til the appointed time then we head west (some years we headed east but last year and this year it will be west :D). Here are some pics from previous years to give you an idea. Very low keyed... very relaxed ... just a good time :cool:

We will be coming from the other north side of Sandusky Bay. We would have to meet on the water? As soon as you idle out from the Sandusky ramp, you should be able to see all the boats gathering on the other side at the mouth of the bay?

Yeah, when I was in Ft Myers I had a 35 Outlaw and showed my supervisor pictures from the Florida Powerboat Club poker run we joined in on. He thought it was cool!:drink:

The weatherman said mostly sunny on Saturday.

But it could cloud-up and get drunk-out, directly over our boats?

Mostly sunny 10% chance of rain late afternoon
that will work for me.

The barge party had it going on, there was
about 400 boats and who knows how many
people.

Dawn where did you end up going ?
a bunch of the boats that were with us spent
the night at kellys. I ended up with ten stitches
at the end of the day at the barge party, but still
had a great time.

Dawn had a ill starboard motor, and a captain that was a little sluggish on Sat AM. but hey the weather ended-up great for the party. I have never seen so many boats at that sand bar in my life, and we are already planning who is going on July 31st. I also heard that Jobbie Nooner had the same huge results, so lets see some pic's.

most of us just got home last night, i am sure they will start popping up.
