Baja 415 - Lost?

Has anyone ever seen the mysterious Baja 415? Was this boat ever finished where did it land up?

TEAMBAJA 08-04-2010 12:04 PM

I thought it was supposed to go to Sea Ray in Tennesse so they could use it as a playtoy. I have pictures of it at home.

jetskidrewski 08-04-2010 02:33 PM

KX yes, but is it still alive?

I remember it was supposed to be finished and shipped down there, wasn't sure if it ever made it.

Know if it has ever made a public showing on the rivers/lakes down there (Norris lake)?

The pictures would be something to see.

If Sea Ray had it, then I highly doubt it would be on Norris. They play mainly on Ft. Loudon and Tellico so they can go to all of the big events on the company boats like the football games and Boomsday. I have never seen a 415 on the water here.

I dont have any of the outside of the boat, but nothing changed there. Here are the cuddy shots.

Notice the "fun" seat is missing. :angry-smiley-038:

Heard a dealer in Ft. Walton Beach bought it and sold it. I heard it was awesome compared to the 405.

jetskidrewski 08-05-2010 08:43 AM

FL huh?

That would be very interesting if it was actually sold. A one off custom boat with stringers instead of a liner sold through a dealer . . .

Still like to see outside pictures.

TB- who made the cabinets for Baja? They are very nice.

Honestly, Im not sure where that stuff came from. They were building that boat that last winter I got stuck in that damn beach house in Ft Myers with 3 Outlaws. :party-smiley-004:

Cabinets were all done in house.

It was truly amazing what could have come out of that plant. You take the management/POLITICAL team out of the equation and things like the 415 would have been reality. The only reason the 415 existed was because the POLITICS were nonexistent in the last few months. The politicians had given up by then and moved on to ruin other businesses. The design, engineering and prototype groups were tops in my book and I was glad to be a part of it.

Who was that guy with No Socks....

jetskidrewski 08-09-2010 10:50 AM

There were never any politics there. . . :lolhit:

That's an interesting picture, must have been pulled from the vault.

There's quite a bit of good information that comes out of that tow tank, as long as it's used correctly.

jetskidrewski 08-19-2010 12:09 PM

Still no real location

Soooo - Still no real location on the 415?

jetskidrewski 05-02-2014 02:47 PM

I have to ask again, anyone seen this boat lately? It is bright orange after all...

verbi69 05-03-2014 03:09 PM

So my understanding is this was a new design to replace the 405?
Too bad they never got any units out.

jetskidrewski 05-03-2014 10:13 PM

They got one out, but it seems to have disappeared.

Mseuro 05-03-2014 10:35 PM

Would like to see it, went to google and was unable to find any information or pictures. The inside of the boat looks great, but I like mine just as much.

Unlimited jd 05-04-2014 06:58 AM

I think it's on powerboat swap shop on Facebook

jetskidrewski 05-04-2014 07:20 AM

Where? I couldn't find it.

jetskidrewski 08-23-2015 08:32 AM

Might as well do my yearly check-in on the missing 415... any sign of her? She's bright orange.

Brandonb_05 09-29-2015 02:16 PM

beside the titanic?

jetskidrewski 11-22-2017 12:20 PM

Found it!

so where is it?

jetskidrewski 11-29-2017 10:30 AM

So the missing Baja 415 is up in Canada and currently for sale. I talked to the guy briefly and confirmed with interior pictures it is indeed the 415. He mentioned it was in Jersey and he brought it up to Canada. Unfortunately from my perspective it has bottom paint now. I guess it was just nice to close on the history of the boat and where it landed up...

Not sure I love the orange... Cuddy was night and day from the 405.

puzzleboy 11-30-2017 04:02 PM

Looks nice. Is it actually a foot longer than a 405, or just a model number change?

jetskidrewski 12-01-2017 09:16 AM

Same length, just a number change. Hull and deck were the same, changed from a liner to a stringer boat and totally new cuddy. Few other small things too.

puzzleboy 12-02-2017 02:52 PM

Looked at the pics earlier in the thread, quite different.

puzzleboy 12-18-2017 08:46 AM

Where was it posted for sale? Haven't seen it listed.
