I did not notice the B3 now it will really be slow, maybe 60 if you are lucky. But better for pulling the tube. :lolhit:

I've been browsing today and there are more and more boats popping up post Labor Day. I just have to be patient and not get too hard headed and buy the first one I see.

Making a $20k offer on a $26k asking price would be a great deal for me if the seller would move on my offer.

Also as said before you really don't want a Bravo 3 ( I missed that as I just glanced at the ad) if you want any speed from that thing.
In this market and its the start of fall I wouldn't doubt if people start to drop some big numbers, As in a few thousand easy.

I have a very nice 1999 272 in excellent condition and will run 67-68 gps with labbed prop. Would consider selling as wife wants to get a bigger one, funny how size matters.

i have a 96 272 502 mag. i emailed him . this boat will do 70 with a stock 502 ? this was his answer.
the boat weighs only 4500lbs. if you are the only one in the boat with less than a half tank of gas & have about 6-12" of chop. it will hit 72mph @ 5100rpm. with 2 people, a cooler full of beer 70 can still be achieved. full of people, gas, beer, & the kitchen sink it will do 65 all day:bsflag:

Try this web addy. It's a website that searches craigslist nationwide, as well as ebay for specific boat brands/keywords. I used it the other day to find a Bravo lower unit on CL only 250 miles away for $400.

Good luck!

I agree, he is full of sh--. Even on the "Dream O Meter" it will not do that. Raced to many of them to believe that.

Mine is a 1993 outlaw and came with the 502 mag. at 360 hours it had 5 flat lobes in the cam and a rash or other crap wrong internal of the engine. also, thought it was never a tip top 502 mag. mine went 49 on gps when i finally decided to tear her down. (i thought she was going slower and slower)

Ebay Ed 09-09-2010 10:36 PM

my 98 272 with a bone stock 310 hp 454 runs 52 / 53 on the gps with 3 or 4 people and over half tank of fuel and a cooler
