The question is like that of... is a pound of bricks heavier than a pound of feathers? :lolhit:

I was more worried about torque. Either way the 1X would have me very worried. I guess go until it blows!!

That1X will take it you just have to know how to drive the boat. Mine are fine. Oil is a little dark, but oil is cheap just change it more often.

Based on my experience with supercharged power and keeping Bravo drives operational, I'd rather have naturally aspirated power in front of a Bravo.
I think the Whipples I have make gobs of torque around 3k. Given that I always break a drive in that rpm range.

I was just trying to be funny about the HP thing. :party-smiley-004:

What is the difference in torque values between the two?

And so it begins! :party-smiley-004: :evilb:

The project went smoothly for the most part. Two trips to the hardware store for the water pipe bolts.

FWIW... the Teague 'block-off plate' does not work the IMCO extension box. The plate is too wide and will not fit into the key hole.

Today I am going to work on trim lines and pump.

Does anyone have suggestions on reconnecting the ground wires to the back plate?

I will post more pictures as the project continues.

I disagree with you Rick. It's the one I used you have to use a bench grinder and finesse it a little. It'll work.

The ground straps hook up the same way they where before all your doing is putting a spacer in. :lolhit:

Yup. That's what you gotta do.

Well... it is too late now. I sold it. :angry-smiley-038:

Does anyone know if IMCO makes one that doesn't have to be ground down?

I'm not 100% sure but I think I bought mine from IMCO and had to grind them down too.
Call Dave @ IMCO and ask.

Irishtornado 05-08-2011 11:39 PM

The Teague one is cheaper...I told you anytime you need something just call I'll help the best I can over the phone. :party-smiley-004:
