1989 260 sport cabin door replacemetn?
 

Does anyone know where I can get a new plexiglass window replacement for my 1989 260 sport BAJA. By buddy put his foot trough it when I hit a sunami wave. He is fine but the window is toast. Baja was no help for a supplier. it is a smoked plate with one bend and rouned corners. The door slides over it when open.

I can't possibly be the first in this position.

Duct tape works but it aint pretty. I just spent a ton of time on making her look sweet.

If you look through the Baja forum at the posts regarding replacement windshields, you'll find the info you looking for, but will probably not be impressed with the answers you get. My plexi door was made by the same people that did the plexi windshields, and they are no longer in business. They sold out to a larger company that will not sell to you or me, only to Baja. Baja can probably get you the part, but it will be almost 4 times the cost as when you could buy it direct. All I have to say is thanks alot Baja, I'll keep it in mind next time I'm in the market for a boat. A good dealer will know how to get the part ordered, maybe you can make an insurance claim. The cabin door you can probably have made locally. The problem with the windshields was finding a fabricator that had the ability to make the front section in one piece.
