40 Outlaw in classifieds
Anyone see the 40 Outlaw with Whippled 525s in the classifieds? Seems to be a nice, clean boat. Anyone know top speed on this boat or have any info on it?
|
Looks like Ozark Devil's ride....maybe he'll chime in ?

so what,,,,, 75 ish with stock 525's?
|
It is very nice!! I have seen it several times at our condo complex at LOTO. Seems like it is priced to move..
|
Looks like the one that was at Fastboats.com back in 2008. Then it had 525's whippled too. One of the photo's shows it there.
Look back at a thread "Pick a 40 outlaw" from 8-20-08. If the above guys say it's nice it probably is. Has some nice options and improvements. Obnoxous-I've been in a 40 w/525's doing 70 even gps, no boxes, std drives. |

Yep its mine :ernaehrung004: thanks for all the complements, I have put alot of sweat and $$ in this boat in the last year. I have alot of mixed feelings about selling it. I have received some E-mails about trades (cars & boats) and as luck would have it my computer is being a big pain in my a$$ now, I have lost all E-mail capabilities at home but I can be reached by phone 563-242-8075, PM or work E-mail([email protected]). |

Good luck on the sell, seems to be priced well for a quick sale. |

He was still working with Bblades on some other props to get the slip numbers down, but I think he said it was running around 83 GPS.

IS this true? Seems fast for twin 525's. Awesome boat
I bought the boat with Bravo 1 30pitch props so thats what I started with. I was turning them 6000 and about 28-29% slip which was 80-81 mph GPS. I have since then tried 34" & now 32" bravo1 props. I have been talking with Brett @ BBlades and he seems to think he can get my slip #'s below 20% @ 5500-5600 RPM(ideal for motors) and around mid 80"s. My E-mail is back up now so I will respond to The E-mails I have received |
Why are you selling it?

Well it is official, my 40 Outlaw went to Texas. The new owner Jason took it to Lake Texoma on saturday.
Time to start screening the market for my next boat payment. Possibably a 47' Fountain?? We will see whats out there. |

Ryan has a 2002, just built his 575's to 742 true dyno hp (still has stock superchargers withOUT coolers) and has new props going on tomorrow. Will update you on results if your interested. Awesome boats that offer alot. 47 fountains are neat but triples suck and twins are rare, and expensive. Boat is small for how big it should be, but handles like a big boat not sporty like the 42 fountain does. |
[QUOTE=offshorexcursion;3440073]Congrats on selling your boat! It was a very sweet ride and I was shocked how long it took to sell at such a fair price. I would have been proud to own it.
I actually thought I had it sold a couple months ago to a guy in california. He pissed around for a month & a half until I told him his time was up. So between that and the fact that I was not going to move off of asking price it took some time. |
