What a steal!!!
Anyone looking for a great deal on an under powered over priced 33? While the starting bid is a creative number it's about 30K more than it should be.

Yeah, he's a little bit optimistic;)
I'd be happy if I could get the # he's asking out of mine. |
He is dreaming!
|
I'm bored at work so I emailed him. Here's his response -
"As far as starting bid: this is heck of a boat for the money compared to new (150k) if your seroius make me an offer. we dont need to use ebay. Im looking to get at least 68k...If i get anything close to that its gone..." Then he dropped the starting bid on it by $4000. Which is still $25K too high. I hope I'm not bashing another OSOer:) |
got a be a salt water boat too. wow! dude better plan on keeping his boat for awhile.

LOL!! I checked the ads, apparantly there are a few "disillusioned" sellers out there, but, at least its not JUST Baja owners! Here is an ad for a "Sonic"
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-...item3f063a98fd Sadly, THIS ad is right underneath it! LOL, which one would you buy? Although this one is a repo I beleive. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-...item3f064a4b20 |

Id sell my 36 for that !!!
|
I thought the "2nd" sonic was a real nice boat, I just dont like the Sonic interior [mainly the seats] as much as the Baja's, say what you will, but, I think the "elipitcal" grab rails on the back of Baja Bolsers are some of the nicest seats out there. I wish my old resin bucket had them!
|
The 2nd sonic belonged to an OSO member... didn't hear it got repo'd... thats too bad. Spoke to him while we were looking for ours... bummer..

Lets give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he has a *****y wife that says he needs to sell the boat. So, to shut her nagging ass up, he puts up an ad on EBAY.
|
Might be easier to "outsource" the wife and enjoy the boat, but, I guess divorce is MUCH more expensive than a boat, LOL!
He could also be one of the fellas you meet [I know a few] who dont understand the concept of "depreciation", I have a buddy who basically assumes he can sell ANYTHING he owns for at least what he paid for it [20 years ago] Funny thing, these people generally are the ones who have NO problem maybe lowball offers when they decide to BUY something!
