i am looking to put a crate 502 in my baja, i see 1800 runs new has them for 5800 has anyone used them thanks mike

If they are brand new GM crate motors that is a steal! Are they long or short blocks?

i agree 540 or the 572 . i put a 540 in mine and love it 81mph on gps and not dail in yet .i got to change prop and took the check vale tube out of the gas tank . eddie young made me one that will handle a 1000hp. i be testing new speed in 3 weeks :drink:

Check with $hooter he has a 540 almost done guy buying has a family issue he told me about 12k have had mine for 1 year and still running like a champ

just looking for a good eng. that i can get 5 -10 years of running out of it dont need to do 80 + mph thanks mike,last 454 i had lasted 10 years and had 1250 hrs. on it

Just kidding, The best times on the water was with my bone stock 502 mag in a 27 baja with bravo 1. very dependable and reliable, i could spend more time boating and not chasing parts and destroying outdrives. Do your oil changes and your good to go.
