1989 Sport 240 dash panel help
I recently purchased an '89 Sport 240, dash panel is cracked. Looking for a replacement dash panel and probably the gauges too. Anyone have a good resource for replacement dash panels?

If you are looking for the flat plastic panel that the gauges are mounted in, you may just have to have one made. A thick piece of Lexan or aluminum would work, then just cut the holes for the gauges. You could paint the panels to match the colors on the boat, or go with all white for a more modern look. A friend of mine had his entire helm and sliding door painted to match the hull. It really updated the look of the boat over the black dash and smoked glass. I have been thinking about doing the same thing to mine.
If you are upgrading to new gauges and want to sell the old ones, let me know. I am looking for some of the VDO's with square bezels. You can email me at "tsteinmetz' -@- "insightbb.com".

I sold my old one not too long ago. It wasn't original someone along the line had made a new one out of aluminum. Wouldn't be that hard to do, just find a local fab shop with a press brake to bend it for you.

i do, but my graphics guy has it right now, using it as a template for my new dash. we are doing the same lettering and logo, but in electric blue, with the bottom boxes in carbon. should look original, but with a little updating. you need one?
