29 Outlaw, twin 520hp BBC, How fast?
Allright, here is my thought. I built this 509ci 520hp, 575ft/lbs/tq motor. It runs really well, n/a. Thinking about searching for a bigger boat that will run twins and put this motor and an identical twin together in a 29 Outlaw, 33 Outlaw or upper 20's lower30's other brand of boat. Maybe a Cig Bullet. The key is finding one cheap and in need of repowering. Then I can sell the old motors or do a rebuild for someone else (maybe, not quite a veteran motor builder yet!)
I'm wondering how a 29 Outlaw would handle this power, with what speeds and how it would handle. My 24 OUtlaw is fun as hell now with the new motor, but I have known for a few years that I need a bigger boat at some point. This is my 4th season on this boat, time to move on. Any thoughts, especially from all the current/past 29 owners? Food for thought, LAter A4 |

The 29 I rode on can be seen with me and 2 buddies at the clear lake run this weekend and has efi's but 28 b1's slowed it down 3 mph from 27 mirages
