Installing A/C in 1998 36 Outlaw
I have a friend with a 1998 Outlaw. Looking for feedback on installing the system. best location for condenser, routing vents etc...

I installed a/c in my 33 which is similar. I put the unit under the v-berth. Then run the ducts through the side panel under the couch back rest and installed the vents in the flat panel behind the couch.

Thanks for the input. That was his plan also. How did you wire the A/C unit? what kind of switch did you put in? his boat does have shore power.

Where did you purchase the a/c unit? I`d love to put some a/c in mine. I`ve spent every weekend on the boat with a portable unit which works almost too good but not having to lug it around would be nice..
