fuel mileage...

Anyone have an idea what to expect my miles per gallon to be on my 98 272 502MPI ??? I am taking a trip up the Mississippi from Le Claire, IA to Minnesota Border this weekend... I plan on running around 38 to 42 mph average.. Four adults... Thanks!

We did a trip in a 2003 275 with a 496 HO running right around 40 for 110 miles and got around 2 miles to the gallon. 6 adults

My 97 272 got 3.3 at 3500 rpm which was 45 MPH with a 23 mirage plus

I burn about 8 gal per hour, at ranging speeds some wot but mainly cruising at 3500 rpms. 99 25ol with 502.
