Baja did an article on a buddy of mine that bought a new 302 back in the late 90's. They took pics of the boat running at LOTO and he has the pics and article framed on the wall at his house.

First thing I looked at on Tim's boat was the HIN number, and it was the 15th 342 built for the 99' model year. Most photo boats were 001 because they were the first ones built for photos with new MY graphics. Many times the Baja dealer that did not want to pick colors would point at the brochure and say "just paint it like that one"

I always liked that graphic regardless of what model it was on. There is a 272 running around our local pond with the same graphic. A Boss graphic, correct?

Yes. I like it too. It's my second Baja with the same graphics. I had a 302. Hey, Baja_302 WAS my screen name. Who do I need to thank for changing it to 342?????
