Lake Cumberland
 

Does anyone on this forum boat at lake Cumberland Kentucky? I would like to see a Baja rally there sometime :D

I am down there at least once a month, several board members boat down there also. I usually run around with CFD12 (25 Sunsation), khadley (33 Eliminator) ALLAN4 (24 Outlaw) and ITTLFLI (26 american Offshore) I have a 25 Outlaw. A Baja rally would be great, I know the guys at Alton Blakely Baja pretty well and I'm sure they would help set something up.

Let me guess....CFD= Cinci fire dept

I thought about dropping Alton Blakleys a note asking them, but if you know em, that may help..I have a 97 252, but looking to move up to a 30-35 footer soon

yes, there are quite a number of oso members that boat at cumberland, with a large variety of different boats!! i go down every other week-end myself.maybe some day we could have a OSO gathering on the water! bill:cool:

Sounds great to me. I also go down about every other weekend. I have a home near Alligator docks. I'll be there for 3 weeks the first of July. Look forward to meeting some of the oso members

Did you ever get a chance to talk to Alton Blakely about a Baja rally??

Nah, man! You want to come over to kentucky lake. Bajas galore. When I get back home from the lake I will post a pic and let you count them. Let see, a bunch of 24s and 25s, a couple of 29s, saw a 33 today, a friends 32, my cousins 342, and a bunch of the older force models. If you don't have a Baja here, you are the minority.

Thanks for the offer. I will try to make it to KY lake sometime, but I own a home at Cumberland and haven't found a better place yet.

Boating fool, I boat at KY lake. Mine is just a hammer, but I agree, Baja's everywhere. I like to hang out at Fat Daddy's. Be there today.

CFD12, 5....ask Byron about our little race last tuesday on the River. I need to talk smack while I still can. I swear my boat goes faster everytime I go out. 74GPS when I looked down for a glance......Down river of course.

We will be down there the 8th-15th. Badboats, sorry but I did not have time to stop at Alton Blakely last time. I will be calling them this week and stopping by when I go down on the 8th. Do you stay on a houseboat or in the cabins/motel when you go?

I have a house at Alligator 1. I'll be there for 2 weeks after today. I'm going to run in to Somerset sometime to look at some boats, I will probably stop by Alton's. and talk to them. I'll mention the rally idea.
