Sit downs in a 24 outlaw...
Has anyone converted from stand up bolsters to like full sit down seats in a 24?
|
Don't the bolsters have seat bottoms that lift up ?? My 95 24 Outlaw had lift up bottoms that I used all the time.
The Outlaw series has a pretty high freeboard and I would say it is too tall for sit down seats unless you built tall bases for them. Smitty |
It does have flip ups..but the seats are to tight and close to the steering wheel. I'm a big guy so when they are flipped up my legs are squished...among other things lol...and I can't fit my legs between the seat and the wheel since I don't have a tilt wheel...

Would taking the seats out and having a few inches cut out of the pipe frames and re-welded help any????
Or you could add a tilt helm ???? |
Can't really do that size my boat is technically a 240 sport and it has the support bracket that goes from the back of the seat to the side of the boat..and even in the up position my legs are squished...
