I buddy of ine is looking at one with single engine. It has the basic 330hp which he will upgrade but tell me about the boat. How does it run with a single it looks heavy. Thanks

I have a 1989 265 Force. They seem to be on the heavy side. I think awhile ago I read that the dry weight was around 4500-4600 lbs. I personally never weighed mine. I've seen a few of these around. All seemed to be different. Some with windshields, mine has a windscreen,some with cuddy portholes(windows), mine has no portholes. Mine came with a 454 mag. It was good for a year then we bored and supercharged it. The 454 mag(365HP) made the boat run 57-58mph(gps). Now it runs 67-68mph(gps) I would guess with the 330HP he'd be running 53-54mph. I've done alot of upgrading on mine(interior and exterior). This can add plenty of years(newer) to the look of the boat.

They're not the fastest hulls by design but they take some pretty good water. The extra weight will keep you from feeling like a bobber in the water.
