A modern propr will fix that.

It is a friend of mines boat. There has been some ideas thrown around of making it faster. I jsut happen to have a 500 horse 468 laying around.... You know how I am. :poopoo:

Will an H2X rigged with a small block have enough room in the bilge to fit a big block? What about engine mounts, and exhaust tips etc? :party-smiley-004:

I almost need to change my sreeen name before I ask this, but there is a good reason for me to be in the BAJA section.

Just buy my scarab, it's already set up for a bbc and ready for one.

It was in '07. We tried a stock 27"M+, stock M+ 29", labbed M+ 29", and a labbed B1 30". Boat had IMCO full hydraulic steering and K-Planes. What I found when driving, was that the boat had a tendency to crab a tiny bit, so i'd say the combination of a 21* dead rise and the "bigger" power made torque steer a bit of an issue. Boat had a redone transom in '04 and from what I remember, the new x was 16". All in all, it was not undrivable in any way, but you had to drive it. Fun boat.
