This is not mine but thought someone may be interested...

That boat is 3 miles from my house. I can take a look if anybody needs a closer look. I am curious to see what reserve is on it.

That thing looks more like a carear than a project. I wouldnt pay the $5000.00 bid offered on it...too much IMO.

I can use the glove box door !!!!! ( same design )

The size is the same for your 2003 33ol, but the 98' graphic was different. I will look around to see if I have anything. I hope this guy has the fiberglass rear bench, and motorlid tray for this boat! looking at $15,000.00 for complete interior. XT |
30 k in powertrain
15k for interior what are they worth complete? 45k? 55K? |
Looks like the stripping process was stopped about the time
the port transom assembly was to be removed;) |

Who had the 33 with bottom damage?
|
Heck even part of the trailer is missing? This thing a theft recovery?
|
Where is 'Paisan' ? That's exactly what he needs...if he still has his old boat the insurance company hosed him on.

Doesn't look like he's been on in quite a while tho....

Looks like they couldnt afford the payments and took whatever they could to sell off and somehow settled with loan company,, thats if it even has a good title.
|
pretty much buying the trailer and they throw the boat in for free since its just not worth much.
Unless you happened to have engines and drives laying around from your old boat that sunk then it might be a good deal.....i know someone..lol.....we will see what happens. Anyways, thanks for sharing. |
I can understand stripping the engines, drives, gauges and controls for their value but why take the cuddy cushions and leave the transom assemblys?
|
+ 1 to that!

they were planning on taking them too. |
When you factor in the cost of all the parts, plus labour for any/all the stuff you can't do yourself you would pretty much have to get the boat for free. Engines, drives, interior, gauges, wiring, stereo plus all the "little" things that add up ($50 here, $100 there)
After all was said and done you could probably buy a finished boat, go boating right away with no headaches. If it was ONLY missing engine/drives or ONLY missing interior it wouldn't be as bad, but, starting with a bare hull I just don't think it's worth it Just my 2 Cents! Michael |

Thanks for the thoughts guys. I sold my boat in 2010 and I'm still suing the insurance company.
I miss the water. A LOT. Mike |
What was the story? Theft then recovered it stripped?
