in or out? Props

I looked for the old thread about which way to spin the props but couldnt find it. I have heard in to win.
I have my 302 boss with 454 mags and it ran 70 on gps full of fuel and 6 guys. Has Hydr steering and running stock baja 25 props. Will I see a significant difference switching drives? Benifit vs drawbacks?
Thanks

Prop switch

You don't have to switch drives to test the results.Just swap your props and remeber your shifters will be reversed.Forward will be reverse and reverse will be forward. Then if you like the results you can swap your shifter cables if you dont have drive showers installed and if you do then you will have to swap your drives.Good luck..

Why if you have drive showers would you have to switch your drives?

Drive shower pick up

If your pick up for your drive shower is mounted correctly for instance it would be on the left side of a r/hand rotation drive and the right side of a l/hand rotation drive.By reversing your props to do the test you would take water away from the pick up instead of forcing water up to it as you ran through the water.

FYI.
I did this on my 35 with 525's. About 2mph at best. Not bad around the docks either.

I run mine "in" and like it better that way.

with 400 hours on the boat is it ok to just switch the props to test first? Drives would be worked in in their current direction and dont want to wear the gears

Yup, just fine.

I run out... No difference for me really and handled like $h!t. My .02. However it will all depend on your preference.
