Fluid Filled Gauges?
This might be one of the dumber noob questions on here, but would any of the (Livorsi) gauges be fluid filled on an 05 Baja. My speedo gauge (Even though not totally accurate) last year was nearly full of fluid. After getting it out of storage, I noticed it was only about 1/3 full of fluid and it was brown. lol So I'm thinking that it's not supposed to be like that at all, and it especially isn't accurate now. I'll take a pic this weekend and post it up. What's the fix cause I can't handle the brown water. Also, how do I fix one of the gauges not lighting up with the nav lights? I haven't looked into it yet, but I figured someone already knew and could save me some time. Thanks

The speedo is an easy fix. Send it back to Livorsi for refurbish, for like $80 they refil and replace the needle...comes back good as new. Same thing happened to my 04 speedo.

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to pull it out after the long weekend on the water.

Or just drain it completely. The fluid doesn't make it more accurate, just dampens the needle bounce.

I dont really know of one that hasn't leaked. Got a couple in the man cave we warranted screwed to the wall

Mine leaked out a few years ago, never worked well anyway. Gonna put a gps speedo in it soon.

Mine started leaking after a couple of years. I found a like new one on the Donzi forum for a lot less than the $80. Livorsi customer service sucks.
