Baja video in rough water question
OK, awhile back, maybe a year, I remember seeing a thread with a video of what I thought was a formula running offshore in some rough water. It was taken from another boat, not an aircraft. I thought it was an older formula like a 302. but after no response on the Formula section, maybe it was an older Baja?
It was a great video and showed some true old school rough running. Wasn't real fast, maybe 40's or so? I can't find this video anywhere. searched here and search you tube, can't remember what it was called. Anyone? Thank you, Brian |
I think I remember the video you're talking about, it was on Lake Erie I think. I can see it in my head.

I wonder if it was here or on the video section? Maybe I will go look there and use the keyword erie. Thank you, Brian |

If it is the video I think you are talking about, it was an older 320 that a guy did. Was it black.

Beautiful video, great time of day and great looking boat. Makes me want to get off the lake and in to some big water.

i forgot all about full force he is usually at the casino on kellys island

The Apache one is very impressive, but this is one of my favorites for old school boats, more in line with what I could afford. They are a couple of great videos and show how much fun it can be just out romping in the waves.
Man I have to get this 272 done! Brian |

Pretty lame. I'll have to bring my hero next time I take my 36OL in the ocean in 8-12' seas. Been out in 16', that was pretty crazy. Had to make it back from NY harbor to Rockaway inlet with a major hurricane way offshore.

Old thread
As I sit here on a saturday night drinking after my 9 children are in bed, I just had to bring this one back up. I do believe this is my favorite video. That Baja 320 is not new, not a 100 mph boat or flashy, but it is the classic offshore look and a boat that is attainable by the more common man. This is one of the things that helps get me through winter.

Yea, the bigger the water the better!! the Cig handles it much better then the Baja did..

Had to watch these two videos again, this winter stinks...
You know, I see all kinds of videos of on board of the hatch cover back, the windshield back or the windshield forward, none show off shore boating like this one does from the side. The only other ones are the ones from helicopters of the rigs I can't even aford to watch let alone own! Still my favorite two videos. Brian "Singing the winter blues" |
