650 hp and only 76 mph? Something doesn't add up. And those graphics are a touch hard on the eyes....

Captain YARRR 06-05-2012 05:23 PM

Ew yeah, those graphics are not easy at all on the eyes

Fordtough150 06-05-2012 06:43 PM

Definitely not my taste of graphics!

Escrowdog 06-05-2012 09:10 PM

What am I looking at on the graphics??? Looks like a Del Taco menu.

With that HP the speed is close. I'd be curious to see what RPMs and what pitch prop he's running.

puzzleboy 06-05-2012 10:58 PM

I would say.... the WRONG prop. 650 hp in that size of boat, with the right prop, should be 80 ish or better. My boat is only 385 hp, is bigger, and runs 63 (GPS).

Hard to say wrong prop without knowing the details but 80 would be a stretch with under 650HP. Not many 24OL, 25OL, or 272s can achieve 80 with that HP.

240 sport is a lot like an H2X tho isn't it? Lot less deadrise and lighter than OLs and 272s? Correct me if I'm wrong

That transom exhaust provides a nice arm rest after a long hard run. Might as well have installed "stacks" on it.

Ebay Ed 06-11-2012 05:51 PM

fugly

RollWithIt 06-11-2012 07:26 PM

The 240 Sport is the beginning of the 24 Outlaw. They used the same hull and deck on the 24 OL just removed the glass window and put in a fiberglass fairing. Aside from that is basically the same shape. The swim platform on the one listed is not original nor is the fairing.

Is that a radiator hose with a wire tie acting as a breather?

machloosy 06-12-2012 07:47 PM

The older 240 sport (1987-1989) is the basis for the 24OL. This one is after the hull switch, should be a 22 degree deadrise and in reality it has the running surface of a 22ft'r. 650 should put this boat on the 80 mark with the right prop for sure but it takes a lot of balls to drive it there especially with those little single ram bennett's.

Graphics are definitely a little harder on the eyes :lolhit:
