Imco Shorty Drives On 33 Outlaw

HAS ANYBODY TRIED THE IMCO SHORTY DRIVES ON 33 OUTLAW IT IS SUPPOSED TO RAISE X DIMENSION ABOUT 2 IN 02 X IS 2.5 IN IF SO HOW MUCH SPEED DID YOU GAIN.

sHORTY DRIVES

I tried some shorty drives that baja sent to my dealer on my 2001 33 w/500EFI's. I did pick up about 5mph or so but the boat handled poorly and i couldn't get the bow to lift. The shorty drives are missing the cavitation plate which i thought was the reason for lack of bowlift. The props i used were labbed 30's that had been damaged as well which may have been part of the problem.
I would recommend trying before buying.:D :D :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
