Where to mount shoot threw on 36OL
 

Just ordered a GPSMAP 341s https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=150&pID=28752 going to flush mount it on dash in place of worn out speedo gauge, since boat didnt come with depth sounder and i also want gps speed and chartplotter i hope this will look ok between my gauges

my question is where is the best location on the 36ol to mouth the garmin https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=836
transducer?

on my 25 it worked the best right in front of bilge plug but i dont think i can reach back there on this boat.

Mine is located on the bilge floor on the stbd side of the center stringer almost to the forward bulkhead.There's a recessed area for the tranducer in the bilge floor.Looking at your hatch actuator the bottom bracket that mounts to the center stringer, just in front of that on the bilge bottom.Just in front of the stbd engine you should see a recessed place beside the center stringer.Ive owned 3 -36 outlaws and they where all located there from the factory..Good luck Hank36

Mine on my fountain is mounted in the front bilge, you have a front bilge in your 36 as well. Don't see why it won't work there, mine works well.

thanks you think u could maybe get a picture? i sure dont see any places down there that looks different recessed or maybe im not looking hard enough did they cut any material out to mount them or just sand smooth and clean then epoxy it down?
