Default the 25's 4sale= want to move to 29 or 302???which?

Well I finally put the 25 ol up for sale!! Been great but need a few more feet and cockpit room??

Budget will be 30-35k ish.. would love the 33 but don't know if I could find one that cheap?

So 29 or 302 ( 33 would be easy decision if I wanted to increase my budget some or find THAT deal)

Questions:
love the look of the OL but like the cockpit of 302. 29 doesn't look any bigger/wider than my 25? Any dif in width and space betwn bolster and bench? From pics 302 looks huge! But if there was some gain in space 29 could work!

Also what engine package? Cruise with friends at 50 or so. So SBC/7.4 would work harder than mag motor, so any fuel effeciecy gained with smaller engine would be lost from running hard? Thoughts??

Or is the any other boats with 29' of riding surface with comparable cockpits of the 302???

Thanks

i have a 29 oultaw, and i have two buddies that just purchased some 302 one paid 18 for 1996 and the other paid 23 for a 1999. the 302 have alittle more cockpit room than my 29. to me it looks like the back seat on the 302 set back about a foot or so then my back seat. i would get one with atleast a 454.

23K for a 99 302?? Sounds like a pretty good deal, the walk thru windshield on the 302 vs the fixed windshield/windscreen on the Outlaw is something to consider if stuff like that matters to you. Engine packages? Ideally a pair of 500EFI"s would be sweet, but, rare and IF you find that set up it will be $$$$

502's would work, but, 496 HO's would be better.

Kinda depends what your intended usage is gonna be?

Jason i have heard alot about your boat... some people on here said it might be for sale.. Can you give some specs of the boat.. I know it speaks for itself but iam new here and dont know much about it... Ex. " What motors are you running, how many hours are on the boat and engines, what are you asking for the boat, any other pertinent info you can tell me about the boat would be greatly appreciated." You can just email me with any info at [email protected] Thanks Rodney

PM responded to & thanks for the kind words about the boat.
It has served us well & I really hope it finds a new home that will enjoy it as much as we have....minus the breaking drives.

can you fit 4 adults on back seat? hence wider? also how much further back is bench than 25OL??

I would jump on JS's OL but its a lil over what I want to spend vs how much I use it!

Now part of the reason is to get a lil smoother for the kids.

We try to do all the PR's end up missing a few do to timing with bdays and baby sitter availability

Irish has a sweet 302 with wind screen and I am kind of partial to the galley package i.e tax break!!

BUT if the 29 has even a lil more room than the 25 in front of bench could work too??????

also is 454 mag the most economical (as for as wife needs to know)??
my brother in law got a 28 donzi with sbc but he runs it hard, so if I had mags, I wouldnt have to run as hard at same speed? thus better mpg?

rodney... emails sent byt the way! 99 25 OL 380 hours on 454 mag on 07 alum trailer.

JS, if your asking or would take under $40, you can email me also
being that there are only a few things that can go wrong.. engines, hull and vinyl, yours is basically good for another 10 years now

how did the vinyl turn out??

rodney, your actually not that far away, the company I work for deliveries to the Double Quick there, actually all over the Delta.
