hour meter
 

i want to replace the gauges in my boat this winter and the factory tach has a digital hour meter built in, however the new tach does not. If i was to add a separate hour meter gauge would it show the hours i currently have on the boat?

If you buy a separate hour meter, just hook it up to a battery charger and let it run til it reaches the amount of hours you want it to show.
