Procharger experts....
A guy locally is selling a Procharger setup and MPI intake. His boat has a 502 MPI, and he's selling the boat and this loose kit. Is it the same setup for a 454 MPI as a 502 MPI? I've got some research to do.
Anyone with firsthand knowledge of installation issues, hours, etc.? Setup? I don't know much about S/Cs, but I can get it for a really good price. I'm just thinking of grabbing it for a future upgrade.... hadn't really planned on it. Here's a pic he has on his ad, says he has all the parts.... : http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...ps431b176c.jpg |
Same thing, that fits the 454 but you might want to have the ECM re-mapped for your motor...?

Rubbish.............. they are fine for marine application.......if anything is installed wrong it will damage any motor, marine or automotive....
Procharger needs a proper fuel system & a properly tuned ECM to be reliable. There can be no other argument to this on a marine application. |

Too bad Procharger supply's the kit "wrong". Their fuel delivery system is sh!t & even when installed per their instruction meltdown is gonna happen.

One key is O2 sensors to monitor A/F and EGT to monitor temps.. Blowers are great IF you do your homework and make em right.... best bang for buck powerwise.. |
