I have a feeling he had a falling out with Baja. Pretty sure they are the ones that shut down the bajaboatsforsale and all his merch sales.
To bad it used to be a fun site. The people that made it great are mostly gone now. BBO is rocking though.

Well, I liked the site when I first bought a baja...the guys on there helped me out with a few things here and there and they are always super nice.....but OSO offers so much more. I joined after the Berlin wall was formed....or whatever happened when it happened. It did seem like "the owner" (refuse to name names) was a bit of a stiff but he didn't bother me. I drop in to have a look see once every month or two but it only seems like there are 5 or 6 guys posting anything. I just looked and there are maybe 6 total threads that I see in 2013. So....there ya go. Nice guys, just a dieing sight.

Thanks for the update Wildrooster. And as Nightlife said, it was a fun site as it was my first boating forum to be a member. When I joined in 2003 (member # 601), I found many friends on there that I have never met. And then a lot I ended up meeting throughout the years. The TBM Baja Bash at Lake Conroe was started and lasted for 6 years with 2007 being the best with 70+ Bajas, Lucky 7's, and the Baja Magazine being in attendance. And yes, Blake was there too. Great times for sure! He (TBM) supported the Bash by sending hundreds of koozies and if my memory is correct, he would give $500 dollars toward the tshirts for the event. It was a free event for all members participating so this would help. With this, extra raffle tickets bought by the participants, and money out of my pocket, I was able to give a pretty good cash prize at the end of the event. It wasn't a poker run. In the end Blake called me (I believe in 2010) and we talked about the affiliation of TBM and The Bash and we both agreed, because of what was going on (the banning of members and a lot of them Texas members) it was time to remove TBM's affiliation with the Bash. Probably 4-5 months later I had renewed my supporters status and a couple of days later, my money was refunded. And it was not much longer after that, I was banned too. A great ride for sure but thanks to BBO, OSO, and PN, my fix is taken care of. Happy powerboating everyone!

You guys are both spot on. When I got my first Baja back in 05 and found the site it was a wealth of information. I reminds me of good times. Then it went thru a rough period and a shake up. Now, I'm not so sure it is membership so much as corporate bullcrap. If he was selling "Baja" shirts I can understand but "Team Baja Marine" c'mon. They arent gonna make any money off the GT 30 Outlaw anyway so the t-shirt thing is dumb....
Either way, I think Baja has/is being heavy handed with him and I cant figure out why... Good sites/bad sites, in this economy keeping the brand alive is what matters - why kill it? Surprisingly, the entry level brand will be one of the builders left standing and its because of the boats and the people (not one or the other).

I was member#34 and that SOB banned me because of who I associated with..What a prick!! After he did that I had no reason to go back there, and we all can see how his stupidity ruined the site and his cash flow!!! Good for him...
