Don't know?

Heres my situation. i want to drop my rpms from over 6000 wide open, to 5600-5800 at wide open speed and run trim tabs all the way up and my out drive at normal height, and still be able to tube and knee board. i am running to high of rmp with my rebuilt motor and it is either change my prop or get a different cam shaft ( i believe that is what my mechanic suggested) the prop is a much cheap route to take.
i called him and explained to him my needs and desired out come and he said he may beable to do it wirth a stock prop, I will find out in the spring when i take it to him for a test drive in twinsberg ohio.

any props and cons with him, any suggestions?

What Hp do you have what GPS speeds at what max RPM and what prop and pitch.

That sucks that you don`t have a throttle to control rpm.. yup I think a cam or prop is the way to go for sure.. Have you looked into a drive brake? It also slows down the rpms. just adds a pedal like in car...

no exploring all options and price amounts, i have a msd box on it with 3 chips, 5400, 6000, and not sure on the other chip i think 7 or 8 thousand not sure just put it non last year, expensive year and used boat for 3 hours all summer, and to add full hydraulic steering from imc 5900, plus cost of rebuoild 6000. expensive year,. the only money i saved was on gas, but a bad way to save money in my book
