Info on naughti one
I am currently in the process of purchasing the 29 outlaw naughti one. I'm looking for any outside info on the boat be it about the current owner or previous owners. The boat shows real nice and I think it's a nice upgrade from my current 29 would just like as much info as possible so I know I'm making a good move.
|
Never seen the boat in person but appears mint in pictures and shows really nice. Lots of tasteful changes/mods and pretty much loaded up. If i were in the market for a 29 or 30 OL...this would be my first choice. I ended up going 302 Performance Series route given molded swim platform and larger cockpit space. Owner is on a few of the forums and very knowledgable. Dont think you will get hurt and price keeps going down.
I assume you boat a lot in ABay or on Lake Ontario? We will be up in Abay a few times again this year in our new 03' 302 Boss. |
Are you asking about the "naughti one" 29OL with 496 HO's for sale on Lake Conroe TX
If so it's a really nice ride at our local lake that pushes up to about 80 I believe. The seller is a longtime industry insider and I'm certain very very well maintained, plus it's awesome looking and sounding. Add on to reply, I don't know the seller but he's in a club I believe with a group of power boaters at our lake, there's a group of his Baja owners friends that frequent bajaboatowners.com I really don't remember seeing many posts from them here since that website went on the web. That would be a great place to post this question as they'd know the history and answers to your questions about how many owners etc... See ya, Kelly |
Yes wwolf abay and Lake Ontario are my primary moaning areas. I actually am selling a 29 right now also and like the way naughti one is set up. The owner seems legit and has good answers to all questions I just want to double check everything and see what outside sources say
|
if it is the one on Conroe the owners Dave and Keli are both meticulous about the up keep on the boat you will be very happy with it they bought it from some one around st clair i believe about 2 or 3 years ago ?? Dave wont hide anything from you not his way of doing things and like Husky said he has been around Baja Boats a long time
|
Let us know how you make out and good luck with the sale and potential purchase. Baja network seems to be getting even bigger in Upstate NY area!
|
I am very familiar with the owners and the boat as we boat with them. He's had it 3 years this April. Its got to be one of the finest 29's around. He's done lots of upgrades including an awesome stereo system. It gps'd right at 80. Dave and Keli are very anal about everything thing they own and you can tell with the upkeep of the 29 as its flawless. If ya need any thing else just shout. You will not be disappointed.
|
Yep the owner Dave is OCD trust that the thing is in perfect shape. He bought the boat from Michigan 3 years ago.
|
Ty all the feed back so far is very reassuring keep it coming please good or bad I want it all. And yes Dave does seem like a very straight shooter all questions asked come back with good responses.
|
Here does this help...lol

Very reassuring videos lol Ty.
|
Hey! I resemble that remark! :party-smiley-004:
|
Looks like a group to party with during sea trial.
|
Dave is a straight shooter, with no BS! He has gone over that 29 and cleaned, upgraded, and repaired all that needs to be done. I would honestly buy this thing in heart beat if I was looking for a 29 Outlaw. Hope it works out for both of you. I know he has a ton of cash into the props
|
If Dave tells you the boat is 100% perfect then it is actually 1000%. OCD is a real disease & Dave has it.
I've boated with Dave & Kelly many times & it's rare that I find a person who cleans the boat when tied up like I do. Dave is that other guy. |
Thanks for the kind words all. She's been a work in progress, literally blood sweat and tears (and almost divorce #2 the first few months) since the day we got her...she's not perfect but not too shabby for 10 yrs old. We've enjoyed so many of y'all and have had a lot of fun with the 29...hope to upgrade to a (???) soon. If this tells ya anything whatever we buy will be "OCD Overload"....not that I have a problem or or anything or take 3 showers a day or clean things before and after use or...oh crap...do I :party-smiley-004:
Just a few bucks and a few hundred prop saga posts in the props lol :poopoo: |

I would have already bought this boat if they would take a 25ol in trade!

LOL! I am surprised nobody else did the 79.9999999 yet. I went on a diet...down to 178 and I threw Keli and the seat cushions out. That's gotta be good for another .1 :angry-smiley-038: |
I heard it only goes 79.99999999999999999999 when it's 45 degrees out and the owner has his special Baja hat on.
Other than that it does 78 |

Donzi 35ZR with Blue Motors is a nice setup, priced reasonable too.
Of course you can't go wrong with a nice 39ft Outerlimits either (-: Michael |
The N1 is still listed. Price dropped to $59,999. Someone will get a hell of a nice 29 with HO power. Come get it.

Indy. I couldn't turn the RPM out of them in the heat, I told you that and there was a whole thread on them that is gone now. I'm not going down that road again and I'm not poking at anyone either other then in fun so careful.
Thanks Just for Fun... Spring is here, she's gotta go. |

Up in the air....wanting cash in the bank so when something comes along in the Spring/Summer we can look into a good deal. Not a lot of new stuff on the market for a while so just want to be ready when the time comes. Have looked at stuff in the 35-38' range...Donzi ZR's, Formulas, Fountains, Hustlers and a few Bajas... I know whatever we get wil be our last for a while so just want to make the right choice.
|
wish this was next year......wife just won't go for it this year. Very clean boat and just what I'm looking for.
|
So did the Nauti One go off the market?

Couple of places. Saw Eddie had it listed as well. 1st post made it sound like it was a done deal just needing a stroke to write the check.

Sale fell through. Guy who was buying it's guy backed out on his (never brought him the $) so he couldn't buy mine without selling his.
Funny...I've had less hits on it after lowering the price for the last time then when it was higher. If anyone is waiting for it to go lower it isn't. I'd rather keep it then give it away. Only HO 29 on the market below $60k with more tricks then a $2 hooker. :cartman: |
