Most Bajas don't need or like too much trim. Although, I don't blow-out or cavitate like you, I don't see any appreciable gains past appx. 1/4 trim.

I can trim further, but it doesn't help too much.

you have alot of great advice check the tach then go to the 23 mirage/ the pitch can be changed on the 21 to a23 pitch thin the blades some add a touch of cupping ,balance to zero tolerane and polish to new.I think the 21 pitch is trying to pull the bow up but can not keep it up due to the pitch is to low and using excessive trim trying get get your maxium speed where as the 23 mirage will not need as much trim to run faster. this should reduce the porporsing to almost nothing.

Thanks alot, got a 23 pitch will be trying it out this weekend. I also got the tach straightened out,man was that thing off.
