Well it is a 1990 Baja 235 Angler built by Baja Boats. The hull is based on the 1990 Baja 235 DVX but designed for OB's. It never made the 90' brochure but I would estimate around a dozen or more were built. Even more rare was the 235 Walkaround with a forward cabin area on the same hull. Both models suffered from the same problem that the nose would float lower than the transom with a single OB. The twin engine option was better and at least floated level, but I see in your photo that someone added a bracket that set the single engine like 30" behind the transom. That should help allot.

Not funny, but we use to joke that the bilge pump needed to be located in the nose of the boat. Both models were design by a so-called outside source that was suppose to be the best center console designers. I think the molds were sent back to them that same year.

Ask for in-water photos before you put money down.

Thanks for the great info. I just went and looked at it. Overall it is "ok" condition. It needs a GOOD cleaning buffing etc. he did say the bracket was added. I was not sure as I could not find any info or pics of the model anywhere.

In regards to the bilge pump, there were 2. 1 in the normal rear position but it also had one in a locker in the FRONT! About 18 inches in front of the console! Lol.

The person who is selling it has used it for about 4 years and kept up the maintenance really well and of course never said about how it sat or ran in the water. All systems function and overall the boat is water ready sitting on a very decent continental aluminium torsion trailer.

What are your thoughts on value?

Thanks again!!

It has a 99 merc 225. Carbed engine with new hydraulics, new carbs, and new lower unit. It runs great. Compression was good as well.

With no real comparibles and not be listed in nada it's hard to put a value on it. It has a lot of nice amenities, stereo, t-top, fresh water etc and a decent-to good continental trailer.

Thanks for the info everyone!!

No idea! Like any used boat it is worth what the highest bidder will pay. Look up simular size models with the same year and HP.
