Boatless X 2

As Jason I am boatless now too.... 29 drove off today and is headed for Illinois... Great guy who picked her up. Now I can professionally boat shop again without being told "you have to sell the one you got first"! :poopoo:

abones 04-24-2013 04:47 PM

Well congrats on selling, now what are you in the market for?

HOSSMAN 04-24-2013 05:02 PM

Thanks man.... Don't know really. Was looking for something particular but had a job change that is altering what I was thinking. Might be looking for 33-35'....Baja or 35' Fountain X probably...wife likes the 353 Formulas too but I'm not huge on the windshield. Nothing new but at least HO's or blue power. Waiting to see what else hits the market as not a lot of new stuff has been moving around or anything else is just word of mouth. Not going to jump into anything right away, the next one I am sure we will have a little longer then the 29 we had.

stlliberator 04-24-2013 05:57 PM

what part of Ill?

T-RAV 04-24-2013 06:31 PM

Congrats on the sell!! What kind of price range are you in now? This doesn't look like a bad deal... Although you might be tired of the colors...

I think Pleasent Hill? That's where his bank was...he is a farmer out there. Very nice guy!

Thanks! Have looked at that one for a while and have watched the price drop for a while...tulsa is close too and i have family there, I don't think there is a trailer under that one though for that price and there are a few others with trailers priced about the same. There is a red/black/gray SST for sale that is really nice but it is a little too rich for me.

Thanks Nailit!

HOSSMAN 04-24-2013 10:09 PM

Never been a cat man but if $ were no object I'm sure I could learn to love the word Nor-Tech....

HOSSMAN 04-30-2013 09:22 PM

No...my first marriage was acountry song....lost my dog, lost my bank account and drank a lot!

Can't afford a tractor...I'll put a goat in the yard tied to the abandoned toilet in the yard.

navy252 05-01-2013 09:18 AM

Right on!!! Ya cant take it with you anyway. Might as well enjoy what you love most.

n20michael 05-01-2013 12:01 PM

How about a nice Donzi ZR? Stepped hull, good amenities, and if you go for the 38ZR you can get staggered 525's

Not a Nor tech, but, a lot of the boat for the money

Just my 2 cents! It's a buyers market. Good Luck!!

Michael

HOSSMAN 05-01-2013 02:32 PM

Yep...in this case with the wife 2nd time's a charm! She rocks...and rocks a bikini pretty well too

I like the ZR's a lot... Looked at a 35 in Austin if you remember right but it was sold to someone overseas who bought it. IMO if I am going to spend over 100K (100-125) on a boat then I would spend it on a older Top Gun then something else but that's JMO. With my job change I am having to re-evaluate my budget right now. :daz:

n20michael 05-01-2013 09:57 PM

Or you could just "go for broke" (-:
