01 25 outlaw. 496 mag. Mirage plus 3 blade 23p.. WTO 6500 @ 65 mph. Just bought a revolution 4 4 blade 21 p. Any comments welcome..

6500 rpm? that does not sound right. there is a guy locally running a 22 bravo 1 on a 496 25 outlaw and he seems to be upper 60s. 65 is very good stock. that 21 is too small. I say bravo 1 22 or 24 is something worth trying

which 496 is it? you should have no issues spinning the 23-3. are you trimming it up high enough?

Mag. Sure am I gotta play with it to get it right I really don't like the 23p 3 blade mirage plus. Comes out of the hole like **** and its not turning enough rrrrr s .should be 4800-5000 not 4500 wot

That's weird, my 23 mirage + spits my 272 islander out of the hole like a wad of snot.
I've got the 496 ho in mine and spin about 5+k at 61 mph

that's my thoughts also, I have a Baja sport 250/270 which is basically the same hull as the 272 and the 25 outlaw. I have a 23 mirage plus with a 330hp 454 "on roids" and am at around 450hp. I am hitting 64 on gps at 5000. something seems off here
