Reattaching Deck Hatch Support to glass?
 

My 33 Outlaw has the two deck hatches in the cabin, with the twist lock stay/prop to keep them open. One of them came loose from the glass/hatch. I was going to just use rear view mirror glue, but thought I better check and make sure it won't etch or harm either of the parts?? Or if something better will work.
