I took mine out because it use to go off at night when NOTHING was running. My first reaction was it was on a switch when the AC/genset was on it was on. But, now I am thinking if the power is on at all, it is on.

If you take the cover off, you can unplug it. However, I understand your fear of just unplugging it, its there for a reason.

Yea Now that I know there is apug under the cover I will invstigate. Maybe its just unplugged? Maybe not. But ig i can unplug it i can check for power, and if its still got power i can hardwire in a new one. I shoul dhave one working since I sleep in the boat alot.

I dont run the genny all night, but wish i could haha.
