Removal of the grab bar on the bow 29 outlaw
 

I want to paint the center bar on the bow. Are those thru bolted or do they just unscrew?

Is anything on a Baja through bolted? lol

They are through bolted. I tried to remove on of the bolts on my 25 and couldn't get it loose. I cut a slit in the headliner and got a socket or screwdriver (can't recall which) on the underside; but, it wouldn't budge. I'd like to know the trick to getting them out so I could do the same.

Any body have some idea on how to get this thing off?? Xt I'm sure you would know!!

You remove the nuts on the backside while holding the hex on the topside. Thats the way to remove it.

So the headliner would have to come down correct?

Or cut small slits to access the nuts

Thinking of covering mine in vinyl?? could make it any color.. i.e. white carbon fiber may look cool

She's coming along!! Doing a little dash upgrade, adding bezzels on the cleats and throttles, she's getting a new trailer in April, and new interior next winter.
