Making progress.... Restoring 180 islander
Been restoring this 180 islander for a few months now. I decided to put carpet back in the boat instead of the non skid paint. Did the carpet in, in my driveway. Waiting to get interior back this week. Will post pics when I get it back and put in. IMG_0202.JPG. IMG_0124.jpeg

Good to see other people are keeping the 180's alive, they're great little boats. I restored mine this year...pictures are on the Baja Boat Owner forum (I'm under the name 'splitmushroom' there) http://bajaboatowners.com/threads/65...0-Project-pics

Any chance you could post your pics on here I'd love to see it. Planning on redoing my upholstery this winter and maybe the carpet. The guy that owned it be for me put trim tabs on it so I might also see if I can find so.e LED indicators

208 Islander 1996 restoration
Hey y’all. Anyone still active here? I’m restoring a 208 Islander. Looking for a piece of glass. Port side window. Also wondering if anyone has gel coated interior after carpet remova? |
I am thinking of doing Sea Dek instead of carpet. not sure how it will work in the uncoated fiberglass though. What did you end up doing?
