I say this all the time, but the most inexpensive way to pick up 2-5 mph is put imco -2 lower units on it. Which usually you have to increase pitch whichincrease top speed. It will change the attitude of your boat dramatically running.. For instance if you hit a boat wake and your out drive propshafts are 5 inches or more below the bottom of the hull.where the drives are mounted you tend have the bow fly high. Where with -2 lowers the boat flies straight.
