I was and am a big a fan of Baja. Owned a 27.2, 29OL and a 35OL. Boatless for a few years now.
Great times!!\
MY 29 was pretty fast and the 35 rode great!
Here is a video I did when I did a family trip to Islamorada Florida. (Was doing one of those typical Helo 5 minute rides with the wife and got to talking with the pilot I had a boat and would love to get some video. He said sure...100 bucks later.. My bro in law took my handycam and I went out the next morning)

some raw footage.

Hey Bowtye Dennis. Just was looking through some older pics the other day and found the one of us at Captain Hirams when I met you and the wife. I guess your still in Vero? We are still going to Ft. Pierce a few times a year and have even thrown around the idea of renting or purchasing a cheap condo there.

That's a great video and just think how it would of been with todays technology.

We were in Florida for a month in the summer. Spent 11 days of that cruising on our friends Hatteras to the Abacos. Now they have a 57 Viking. Still at Ft. Pierce City Marina. Were back there in November for a week after spending 10 days in Key West for the boat races. While in Ft. Pierce took their Viking down to West Palm for the weekend. He's still getting the bugs worked out of it. Probably be back down in May. Then back again in July for most likely a month. This is the reason we are boatless now.

I'm looking to officially call myself a baja owner.

Can someone give me some advice on how much I should pay for a 25ol with 496magHO stock with 175-250 hours? Is nada even reasonable when buying a boat. With no options, they have a 2005 outlaw w/ trailer priced at 26k, seems low.

In my opinion, its low for a boat that really is in "like New" condition... but there are boats that are listed as pristine, or like new, that in my opinion the book is a little high on... so "I" think its just a guide not a bible and condition is going to dictate what the real value is... I think you may have to pay more for the "right" boat. that's just my opinion.
