Sweet boat man. Need to change the name before you run for Congress.

Did I see a picture of that boat in a standard height garage? Is the height of the boat on trailer less than 7ft?

Thanks Texoma.. and yes it will go thru a standard garage door but its no walk in the park.. I need at least 2 spotters to get it in. There's about 2" of space side to side and 3-4" of clearance on the top. It's nice to be able to put it thru a standard door and it tows nice since it sits so low to the ground but I do run into clearance Issues because of it. I've got be careful of steep driveways or the center of the side rails end up on the ground and with the ITS the lower unit doesn't come up as much so I've got to watch that as well.

Cool, I’m curious to see how the VV mobile works. You’ll love all the smartcraft info!

I plan on documenting the installation of it on here and Phil’R Up’s Facebook profile and maybe do a video of it as well. Since mine is one of the first 496’s produced I won’t have all the features but I will be able to read codes which will be nice.
On another note today is the 4 year anniversary of when I bought the boat.. it’s cool to look back and see what it looked like the day I bought her.

Update on Phil’R Up. It’s been a waiting game this spring but soon updates should be coming. I stopped by to check out the boat and the spots in the hull have been sanded. Keel, nose, 2 on the running surface port side, 2 spots on the starboard hull side and both rear corners are getting work done. Also big shoutout to BUP I have new plugs and wires ready to go in.
